My only other experience with afghani food was prepared by local international students from Afghanistan. It was to die for. I will be honest, I was hesitant to try this place because my expectations were really high given my past experience with the cuisine. It did NOT disappoint. Highly recommend, Maiwand Kabob has been a family favourite since decades. Maiwand is our go to place. We always order chicken tikka and seekh & chicken kabob combo. Kids love samosa's and kofta wrap with fries. We can't wait to visit again.

Everything was delicious. We got the Do Piaza Thursday special (similar to lamb curry) and the Kofta Kabob, along with the hummus. Naan was warm and fluffy. Hummus is a little spicy but was favorable.

The food is very tasty, seasoned very well. Service is on point and pleasant. The atmosphere is moderately quiet duringthe day. Highly recommend the chicken kabob with beans & rice, spinach, and naan bread. Need to add ice tea to the fountain mix so we can make half and half (lemonade and ice tea).
